What is National Learn to Row Day?

National Learn to Row Day is always the first Saturday of June. The day is set as a national awareness for learning to row. Clubs all over the United States participate on this day because of the national recognition it receives, as well as the promotional material that are distributed.

How can I participate in National Learn to Row Day?

What are the fees associated with the event?

The great thing about this event is that it’s free to member organizations. Just for participating, you will receive a 3x5 National Learn to Row Day banner, along with several posters to place around town.

Do I have to take out extra insurance coverage for the members learning to row?

No. Your standard USRowing liability coverage will be enough for this event. However, if these members join your club and become active rowing members, you might have to move to a higher member tier.

What kind of publicity does USRowing give our club for participating?

USRowing will provide you with a 3x5 banner, along with several large posters for you to display in your area. In addition, we provide you with sample press releases to send to your local paper, along with suggestions on how to get more publicity for your club.
