USRowing Announces Training Center Athletes

Forty-two athletes have been invited to the USRowing Training Center in Chula Vista, Calif., in preparation for the 2013 competitive season, which culminates with the World Rowing Championships August 25-Sept. 1 in Chungju, South Korea.
PRINCETON, N.J. – Forty-two athletes have been invited to the USRowing Training Center in Chula Vista, Calif., in preparation for the 2013 competitive season, which culminates with the World Rowing Championships August 25-Sept. 1 in Chungju, South Korea.

The camp roster includes several medalists returning from the 2012 Olympic Games in London, where the U.S. won gold in the women’s eight and bronze in both the women’s quadruple sculls and men’s four. In addition to the list below, athletes will be training at the USRowing Training Center – Princeton and other satellite sites.

National team women’s coaches Tom Terhaar, Laurel Korholz and Anne Kakela, and men’s coaches Luke McGee, Bryan Volpenhein and Cam Kiosoglous will lead the camps, scheduled for January 6-27 and February 7-17.
