Washington and Stanford Take Top Spots in Season’s First USRowing Collegiate Polls
Washington topped the first USRowing men’s varsity eight poll of the season, while Stanford took the top spot in lightweight women’s eight poll. The first lightweight men’s eight poll will be released next week.
Washington topped the first USRowing men’s varsity eight poll of the season, while Stanford took the top spot in the lightweight women’s eight poll. The first lightweight men’s eight poll will be released next week.
Washington received 11 of 12 first-place votes to take the top spot in the men’s varsity eight poll. Brown University ranked second, followed by California, Harvard and Princeton. Harvard received the other first-place vote.
Stanford earned the No. 1 spot in the lightweight women’s eight poll, receiving five of seven first-place votes. Harvard-Radcliffe received the other two first-place votes and ranked second. Princeton, Bucknell and Georgetown rounded out the top five.
