USRowing will follow FISA weights for all lightweight competitors in both NSR events and Trials events.

A rower may compete in lightweight rowing events if he meets the following criteria:

  • A lightweight men’s crew (excluding coxswain) shall have an average weight not exceeding 70 kg. No individual lightweight male rower may weigh more than 72.5kg.
  • A lightweight male single sculler may not weigh more than 72.5 kg.

  • A female lightweight single sculler may not weigh more than 59 kg.

Lightweight rowers will be weighed wearing only their racing uniform on calibrated scales not less than one hour and not more than two hours before their first race of each lightweight event in which they are competing, each day of the competition.

USRowing Compliance:
All competitors must be current full privilege members of USRowing and have a signed liability waiver on file. Athletes will not be permitted to launch if they are not in compliance with these requirements. Please check your status and renew your membership and waiver before arriving for competition. This can be done online at www.usrowing.org by clicking on “Join/Renew” or by contacting member services at 1-800-314-4ROW. Membership staff will not be on-site, so it is important to ensure compliance in advance of the event.

Parking:

All vehicles must park on the south side of the Boathouse.  Boat trailers may park along the dirt access road behind the boathouse. This may change, so please check the website and on-site for more information. Emergency vehicles will need to have a clear path from the paved road all the way to the boathouse. Any vehicle not following the outlined parking rules, parking signs on site, or staff instructions will be towed at the owner’s expense.

Boat Storage:
All boats will be stored outside on personal slings or on club trailers. There is no rack space available at the facility (outdoor or indoor) and participants will not have access to boat bays. Please be mindful of emergency access roads and walkways. Equipment that is blocking a path may be moved.
