Sun, surf and stellar racing. The 2016 San Diego Crew Classic brought the spring season in with style! Check out some of USRowing's favorite shots from the weekend.
With the first major regatta of the year on the books, rowers from across the country are still enjoying the memories (and the sun tans) that the great weekend of racing provided. Here are a few of our favorite shots from the event. For the full gallery, click here.

An empty seat was left for Joan Lind Van Blom as her fellow teammates from the 1984 silver medalists in the coxed quadruple sculls, Anne Marden, Lisa Rhode, Kelly Rickon and Ginny Gilder (pictured) rowed down the course in her honor on Sunday morning.
