While these teams were facing off in Augusta, over 2,000 miles away, clubs geared up for a competition of their own at USRowing’s Northwest Masters Regional Championships on Vancouver Lake in Vancouver, Wash.

Leading the northwest gold medal count was Sammamish Rowing Association (Redmond, Wash.), netting 14 of the coveted medals. College Club Seattle (Seattle, Wash.) and Lake Union Crew (Seattle, Wash.) rounded out the top three with nine first-place finishes each.
